Vose Elementary School (Spanish DLI)

a tuition-free public neighborhood school in Beaverton

PK–5 · Public · Language Immersion · Spanish · Beaverton School District

11350 SW Denney Rd, Beaverton · Monique Singleton (Assistant Principal: Kristeen Davey), Principal

Vose is a neighborhood Pre-K–5 school with a long-running Spanish–English Dual Language program offered at every grade alongside traditional English-only classes; families outside the boundary can apply for DLI seats through Beaverton's dual language application. The model is 80/20 two-way immersion, balancing native English and native Spanish speakers so children learn content and literacy in both languages.

Students have a well-rounded week with PE, Music, and Technology, plus a lively slate of after-school clubs (Unicycle Club, Choir, Theater, Marathon Kids, Game Club, Chess with Chess for Success, and Chicas with Adelante Mujeres) that give kids extra ways to connect.

The campus itself is a modern rebuild that opened in 2017, sized for the neighborhood (capacity 750 with 32 classrooms, 9 additional teaching spaces, a stage, and a dividable gym), so learning happens in purpose-built rooms. Dual language students continue the program at Whitford Middle School.

Your odds in the lottery

Seats here aren’t first-come; they’re drawn by lottery. Each circle below is a tenth of the families who applied over the last two springs and stayed in the running (didn’t take a higher-ranked school). Filled circles got a yes.
