The Madeleine School is a PK–8 Catholic parish school in Irvington, accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association. Pre-K through 5th grade classes are self-contained, with 1 homeroom teacher per grade and classroom aides in Pre-K through 3rd; middle school (grades 6–8) is semi-departmentalized. The core curriculum covers religion, English, math, science, social studies, and wellness, and every student attends specialist classes in Spanish and library, art, music, and PE. A math and science specialist works across grades. The Learning Support team, including a reading specialist, screens every student 3 times a year and writes Individualized Learning Plans for students with documented learning differences, alongside a part-time licensed counselor and a part-time Belonging and Inclusion Coordinator.

Each week opens with a school-wide Monday prayer assembly, and every grade takes on age-appropriate service projects. Families and students run Nourish Our Neighbors, a sack lunch program, and the school partners with St. Vincent de Paul's food pantry, Heifer International, the Children's Book Bank, Catholic Charities' refugee program, and Blanchet House. Two-parent families commit 25 volunteer hours a year and single-parent families 10, unless they pay the full cost of education.
