Summit Learning Charter is a tuition-free virtual public charter sponsored by Estacada School District, enrolling students from more than 30 Oregon districts and running 3 distinct programs from its Eagle Creek campus.

The Elementary Options Program (K–5) is a homeschool partnership: a parent or other adult serves as Learning Coach for 3–5 hours of core instruction a day, a licensed homeroom teacher checks in at least twice weekly, and families spend a curriculum budget with approved vendors.

The Virtual Academy (6–12) runs 200-plus courses on Canvas with live Zoom instruction, a dedicated grade-level advisor, and a required minimum of 4 courses per term. Early College (10–12) places students who hold a 2.8 GPA and are on track to graduate into classes at 9 partner community colleges, with Summit covering tuition and fees for up to 12 credits a term plus book funds.

Optional campus days run Tuesdays and Thursdays for labs, PE, study hall, and clubs. Instruction is virtual for most of the week, so the model rewards students and families who can self-manage a schedule.
