St. Agatha is a parish preschool through 8th grade school in the walkable Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood, accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. Its clearest distinguishing feature is the Learning Support Center, an in-school program open to every grade, where 2 LSC teachers and a Director of Student Services provide pull-out instruction at a student's own level and write Individual Learning Plans for students with disability testing on file.

Elementary grades run one class per level with a leveled reading curriculum, and specials rotate through art, music, performing arts, PE, library, and STREAM, a weekly K-8 hands-on class covering coding, robotics, engineering design, and digital citizenship. Middle school shifts to a 6-period day that mirrors a high school schedule, with trimester electives taught partly by guest professionals and a choice of Pre-Algebra or Algebra in 8th grade. Faith life runs through weekly Mass and grade-level service projects. Students play CYO athletics with other Catholic schools under a no-cut policy, and aftercare is available on campus through Vermont Hills Family Life Center, an independent provider. Families commit to 30 volunteer share hours each year, or 15 for single-parent households.
