Mannahouse Christian Academy is a PK-12, Cognia-accredited, college-preparatory Christian school on the Mannahouse Church campus in NE Portland. Formerly City Christian Schools, MCA has operated since 1974 with a curriculum grounded in a Christian worldview, daily chapel services, and Bible classes at every level.
High school students choose from 6 AP courses (Language and Composition, Literature, Physics, Calculus, Biology, World History) and can earn dual credit through Portland Community College, Portland Bible College, and George Fox University. Two CTE pathways in Health Services and Information Technology and Design carry industry-recognized certification options.
Math placement is ability-based rather than grade-level, and a Blended Learning model pairs face-to-face instruction with online coursework. Community service is a graduation requirement. MCA also operates a virtual academy (MCVA) that keeps students connected to on-campus activities including chapel, field trips, and athletics.
Sports compete in OSAA at the 1A level, and year-round skills camps are open to the broader community.
Tuition: $6,720 - $8,675 (2025-2026 range)

Seats here aren’t first-come; they’re drawn by lottery. Each circle below is a tenth of the families who applied over the last two springs and stayed in the running (didn’t take a higher-ranked school). Filled circles got a yes.
Official PPS lottery results, 2025-26 & 2026-27 combined: offers made ÷ families still in the running (offered + waitlisted); applications cancelled for a higher-ranked school excluded. pps.net › prior transfer data. Slots reset every year.
