2044 E Burnside St, Portland · Shouka Rezvani (Executive Director)

Le Monde French Immersion is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years Programme, with plans to expand IB into the upper grades as enrollment grows. From kindergarten onward, students are immersed in French for most of the day (80% through grade 4), gradually integrating English instruction while maintaining high-level bilingual proficiency.

The curriculum includes Singapore Math, which emphasizes problem-solving and conceptual understanding, as well as inquiry-based science and social studies aligned with IB philosophy. Art, music, and cultural studies deepen global awareness and provide creative outlets for learning. Small class sizes and a close-knit community foster strong relationships and individualized support.

Higher than average recess time for Kindergarteners (total of ~90 min per day in K) and low to no screens beyond testing in K.
