La Salle offers a Lasallian Catholic education focused on academic excellence, service, and leadership. The college-preparatory curriculum includes 15 honors courses and 14 AP courses across disciplines including AP English, AP US History, AP Studio Art, and AP Spanish.

Students can also earn college credit through numerous dual-credit courses offered in partnership with Portland-area colleges, with graduates potentially entering college with as many as 40+ college credits. The World Languages Department offers Spanish, French, and German with opportunities for language immersion trips.

Students participate in service-learning projects (integrated into each grade level with annual requirements), retreats, and leadership development opportunities including Harvard Model Congress, Lasallian Student Leaders, and Lasallian Youth Assembly. The Performing and Fine Arts program includes visual arts, choir, band, guitar, music technology, theater, and filmmaking.

The program reflects the school's mission to educate the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—preparing graduates who are compassionate, resilient, and fully prepared for college and life.
