A once-a-week homeschool commonwealth, Hero Generation runs two 12-week semesters (fall and winter) and requires a parent from each family to stay on site to teach or assist, so the “community day” is hands-on and adult-supported. Curriculum is based on the Leadership Education Model and principles found in A Thomas Jefferson Education, written by Oliver DeMille.
Classes span ages 0–17+, with a TJEd-inspired emphasis on leadership, discussion, and age-appropriate projects; families complete core academics at home the other four days. Weekly meetings provide structure, peer accountability, and a predictable rhythm (devotional, check-in, classes, lunch, closing), while maintaining clear expectations for parent involvement.
Schedules and level offerings are published each term by the community’s director.

Seats here aren’t first-come; they’re drawn by lottery. Each circle below is a tenth of the families who applied over the last two springs and stayed in the running (didn’t take a higher-ranked school). Filled circles got a yes.
Official PPS lottery results, 2025-26 & 2026-27 combined: offers made ÷ families still in the running (offered + waitlisted); applications cancelled for a higher-ranked school excluded. pps.net › prior transfer data. Slots reset every year.
