Bridges Academy Hybrid School

a public alternative program in Hillsboro

5–12 · Alternative · Religious · Homeschool Hybrid

Church campus (address shared after enrollment) · Unknown

Bridges Academy Hybrid School blends Christ-centered homeschool flexibility with the social and academic benefits of in-person learning. The current Academy meets Tuesday–Thursday 8:45am–3:00pm for core subjects (teacher-directed Math, English Literature, Science, Social Studies, Bible). Mondays 9:00am–12pm is when students join the co-op for chapel and elective classes.

This schedule complements home-based learning and builds a sense of belonging among students. The program emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and self-paced learning, with an intentional focus on fostering confidence and curiosity. Parents serve as in-class mentors, turning the campus into a ‘one-room schoolhouse’ where authentic skills and discipleship replace textbook seatwork.

Tuition: $5,400 - $7,950 (2026-2027 range)

Your odds in the lottery

Seats here aren’t first-come; they’re drawn by lottery. Each circle below is a tenth of the families who applied over the last two springs and stayed in the running (didn’t take a higher-ranked school). Filled circles got a yes.
