Alliance High School is an alternative pathway to a diploma within PPS's Multiple Pathways to Graduation program, offering two distinct tracks under one roof. The 5-Day Program is open to all students including 9th graders, with a structured 8:30am–3:30pm schedule (Monday late start 9:15am), small classes of 15–20 students, and a mix of traditional and self-paced coursework. Students can earn 7.5+ credits per year, making early graduation possible. The 4-Day Program is designed for students with at least 15 existing credits, offering a flexible 8:30am–5:30pm schedule with fully self-paced coursework. Both programs feature CTE pathways including Culinary Arts, Digital Media, and Manufacturing; the 5-Day track also offers Auto and Natural Resources. All students can claim 3–15 additional college credits through career-education programs and choose from 40–50 career field trips annually, visiting employers like Nike, Wieden+Kennedy, and Portland Fire & Rescue.

An individualized onboarding program helps students acclimate and begin earning credits from day one. Students work closely with teachers and counselors to set academic and career goals, with opportunities to explore vocational training and internships. With a focus on building both academic competence and life skills, Alliance supports diverse learners on their path to graduation and beyond.
